ChemShield 1734 is a sprayable, 100% solids, amine cured novolac epoxy lining which exhibits excellent resistance to organic solvents, caustic environments, and dilute acidic exposures. The integration of flakeglass reinforcements also gives the coating excellent resistance to permeation and very good abrasion resistance. ChemShield 1734 is well suited for sewage pipe, clean rooms, treatment plants, petroleum refining and storage, and chemical plants using mineral acids such as phosphoric acid plants, hydro metallurgy, and metal plating facilities.
