TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

EnduraTred 1191 is a thick-film, 100% solids, proprietary formulated epoxy-based rubberized compound designed to protect surfaces from heavy impact. EnduraTread 1191 may also be used on floors in areas where protection is needed for employees standing for long periods of time. EnduraTread 1191 is trowel-applied from 125-2000 mils DFT depending on the level of protection desired, and is flexibilized to reduce coating stress resulting from mechanical and physical forces exerted on the substrate. The rubber is functionally treated to react into the system to prevent pre-mature failure. EnduraTread XP-1191 is a two-component system; Resin and Hardener.

TYPICAL USES

  • Inmate weightlifting areas
  • Process floors & concrete areas
  • Pulp and Paper Services
  • Loading Docks

BENEFITS

  • Fast Turnaround time (Cures in 12-36 hours at ambient temperature)
  • Superior wide range chemical resistance
  • High abrasion resistance
  • Flexible to reduce coating stress caused by substrate movement and impact
  • High-build, monolithic application process (125-2000 mils DFT) (1/8 inch – 2 inches)
  • Excellent adhesion to primed steel, concrete and fiberglass substrates
  • Low cured shrinkage
  • VOC compliant

APPLICATION DATA SUMMARY

See Application Instructions for complete information on surface preparation, equipment, environmental conditions, application procedures, and safety precautions. For conditions outside the specifications or limitations described, contact Wolverine Coatings Corporation for details.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Coating performance is directly related to the quality and degree of surface preparation. Prior to overcoating, all surfaces must be clean, dry, undamaged, and free of all contaminants. For more specific information, consult the surface preparation section contained in the Application instructions.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Read the Safety Data Sheet carefully before use. Safety precautions in the SDS should be carefully followed during storage, handling and use. Improper use and handling can be hazardous to health and cause fire or explosion.
