AntiCor 1520

Anticor 1520 is the primer of choice for highly corrosive environments.  It is especially well suited for extending the life of chemical storage tanks, agricultural, fleet and trailer equipment.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

AntiCor 1520 is an Organic Zinc-Rich Solvent Based Epoxy primer. It is the primer of choice for highly corrosive environments. It was formulated to withstand many environments when topcoated with Wolverine Coatings Corporation’s high quality topcoats. Its 85% zinc content guarantees a high performance system whether you choose an epoxy or urethane topcoat, or an epoxy intermediate with urethane topcoat. AntiCor 1520 is recommended for structural steel as well as a variety of OEM applications. It is especially well suited for extending the life of Chemical Storage tanks, agricultural, fleet and trailer equipment. AntiCor 1520 meets the performance requirements of SSPC paint 20 “Zinc Rich Primer, Type II organic and MPI # 20.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Coating performance is directly related to the quality and degree of surface preparation. Prior to overcoating, all surfaces must be clean, dry, undamaged, and free of all contaminants.
